The ultimate guide for the budget & freedom traveller
After the success of six editions, Camps Australia Wide has produced their seventh editoin, with more sites, informative symbols and in full colour. This editoin is A4 in size in Paper Back, has 440 pages and has been revised and updated with over 3,900 sites.
Camps Australia Wide 7 includes Hema Maps, with the sites positioned in their approximate locations on the maps.
Facilities at each site are depicted by symbols, including Toilet, big rigs, maximum stay allowed, dump point, pets allowed, fees applicable. Descriptive icons include: close to road; mobile phone coverage; dry weather access. All sites have GPS co-ordinates, and site access details have been expanded.
Included in this edition is a Public Dump Point list of over 400 dump point locations with addresses and GPS co-ordinates, as well as symbols to show suitability for cassetts, holding tanks, together with access suitability for big rigs.
The guide represents great value for money, especially when the cost of the book can be recouped after only a few nights camping out.
Being able to plan a trip with stopovers that are free or low cost, knowing if a pet is welcome and seeing at a glance what facilities are available, has proven to be a hit with travellers across Australia. Its easy to see why its now clearly regarded as the travellers bible.
