The first season of Pat Callinan's 4x4 Adventures has just been released on DVD. This inspirational Network 10 series has enjoyed incredible ratings success, being watched by up to 422,000 Australians each week.
The show takes in Australia's genuine 4x4 hotspots, whisking viewers to places including Cape York, the Victorian High Country, the Coffs Coast, the Gulf of Carpentaria, Fraser Island and the Kimberley. The image and scenes are simply spectacular, from gorges and waterfalls throught to rainforests and beaches. The colours are breathtaking, as the experienced crew led by former 4WD magazine editor Pat Callinan, take you to the places that only a 4WD can go.
Yet it's not just all about just great destinations. The shows also have a real practical element, and include an amazing array of great tips and techniques to help both beginners and experts.
